I can think of worse things to have to accomplish in eight and a half months.

I've made a list of thirty things I'd like to accomplish before I turn thirty in October of this year. While I didn't make all of them on time, I am committed to finishing he list by January 1, 2010.
The List
- 1. Go to the top of the Space Needle. DONE!
- 2. Try 30 new ethnic foods.
- 3. Call in sick to work one day and just relax.
- 4. Lose 30 pounds.
- 5. Get my Johnny Cash concert posters framed. DONE!
- 6. Set up a compost bin. DONE!
- 7. Inventory my DVDs.
- 8. Go to a roller derby. DONE!
- 9. Read a classic novel, cover to cover, in one sitting.
- 10. Do 100 push-ups.
- 11. Plant a vegetable garden. DONE!
- 12. Try a Whopper and a Big Mac side by side. DONE!
- 13. Run around Green Lake. DONE!
- 14. Visit the Seattle Art Museum and the Glass Museum. DONE!
- 15. Try 30 new beers. DONE!
- 16. Have the following movie marathons: DONE!
- - Terry Gilliam DONE!
- - Humphrey Bogart DONE!
- - Zombie movies DONE!
- - Irish movies DONE!
- - Movies I haven't seen but assume I'll hate. DONE!
- 17. See a play at the Seattle Public Theater at the Bathhouse.DONE!
- 18. Change jobs at metropolitan Market, find a new job, or at least find peace with the job I have. DONE!
- 19. Run a 5k. DONE!
- 20. Buy a kilt. DONE!
- 21. Run a 5k in a kilt. DONE!
- 22. Try 30 new kinds of produce.
- 23. Write something and get it published. DONE!
- 24. Organize my digital media. DONE!
- 25. Visit the gravesites of Jimi Hendrix and Bruce Lee. DONE!
- 26. Have a picnic in a park.
- 27. Beat Super Mario Bros. on the original NES.
- 28. Go to a shooting range. DONE!
- 29. Find a town I've never heard of on a map, drive there, eat somewhere locally, see the sights, and leave.
- 30. Learn to juggle.
